A beautiful day of hunting in Hungary – with many pheasants and, surprisingly, countless ladybugs in the hunting lodge. The atmosphere was excellent, the weather perfect, and my 20-gauge sidelever shotgun performed flawlessly. The precision and balance of this firearm once again proved it to be a reliable companion.

After a successful hunt, enjoyment naturally followed – good company, a stylish outdoor hunting breakfast, and a fine drink rounded off the day. An experience remembered not only for the game taken, but for the shared passion for hunting.

How quickly the weather can change – from autumn colors to frosty mornings and deep snow-covered slopes. Hunting chamois in the high mountains is always an impressive experience.

It’s not always about the size of the trophy – sometimes it’s the quiet moments that make a hunt unforgettable. The first sighting at dawn, the rising light reflecting off the dew on the fields, and the tense wait for the right moment.

Whether hunting game birds or stalking red deer, returning to this unique landscape is always something special. The vast Highlands, the rugged winds and the lush green scenery make every hunt an unforgettable experience. Stalking through the rolling terrain requires stamina and patience, but when the stag is finally taken with a clean shot, every effort is rewarded.

It is not only how you hunt, but also where you stay that makes a difference – and this hunting lodge provides the perfect setting for a truly special experience. Driven pheasant shooting is one of the most traditional and sociable forms of hunting, with dogs and beaters playing just as important a role in the success of the hunt as the guns themselves.

One of my favourite forms of hunting – wild boar hunting in winter. The cracking of branches in the undergrowth, the tense silence, and then the moment when the sounder comes into view. Despite the snow and cold, this hunt is always a special experience.
